Employees of our University from the Department of Physical Education Dr. Mariola Gepfert and Dr. Ryszard Jarząbek, carried out a delegation to China to conduct lectures at Langfang Normal University.
The visit was organized within the framework of international cooperation and was aimed at both implementing an educational program and strengthening inter-university relations.
During the stay, a series of classes were conducted for Physical Education students, including lectures and exercises in two subjects: Methodology of Physical Education and Theory of Physical Education.
In addition, meetings were held with representatives of the university authorities (participation in the Faculty Council). Our teachers enjoyed great sympathy and interest, which resulted in many guest invitations to Elementary Schools and Sports Clubs, like for example badminton club.
The delegation also had a cultural dimension - there was time to visit Beijing, Shanghai, or participate in events promoting Chinese culture and academic traditions, e.g. "Tree Planting Day." The visit is an important step in the development of international cooperation.
