On 31.03-04.04, Angelika Nużyńska from the International Relations Center and Ramona Jachym from the Department of Didactics and Student Affairs, visited the UCV - Universidad Católica de Valencia San Vicente Mártir
During a number of meetings and training sessions, topics related to the internationalization of the university, Erasmus+ projects, recruitment of foreign students, as well as opportunities to support the process of distance learning for students and so-called “internationalization at home” were discussed. The visit also allowed to deepen cooperation and get to know the teaching facilities of the partner university, where our students majoring in Physical Education go, as well as to discuss directions and lay the groundwork for future cooperation.
The training week was also interesting because of the opportunity to exchange experiences in the Erasmus+ program, recruitment or internationalization between different countries, as in addition to participants from Polish universities (AWF Katowice, AWF Wrocław, Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Krakow), it was attended by representatives of universities such as Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Università degli Studi di Roma Tor Vergata (Italy), Palacký University Olomouc (Czech Republic), University of UNSA (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Universidad Autónoma de Encarnación UNAE (Paraguay).
Then in the same month as part of Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for training, our ladies from the Dean's Office of Sports and Tourism Management, namely MA Konstancja Slepecka and MA Anna Cichoń, visited our partner university in Porto - ISCET. During the visit they had the opportunity to exchange experiences and good practices in the area of working with students in the dean's office and learning about the operation of their systems. Of course, that's not all as during the visit they had the opportunity to meet with those responsible at the university for Erasmus and international exchange. This allowed them to deepen ties and discuss future directions of cooperation, as well as learn about the needs of foreign students who can come to our university as part of the Erasmus+ exchange. The ladies returned full of optimism, new energy and ideas!
